You guys. I’ve found my favorite pair of shorts for summer.

I don’t always love the way I look in shorts (somehow dresses and skirts tend to be more forgiving) but the slightly longer inseam on these scalloped shorts was love at first sight. And the fabric is so high quality, you could easily dress them up or down. I wore mine with a linen button-down and navy espadrilles but I’m looking forward to pairing them with a silk cami and nude heels when it really heats up in Texas!

I pretty much only wear wedge espadrilles at this point and I’m convinced you can never own too many pairs. (I’ve been living in these and these but I think these are up next!) They’ve been the perfect shoe for meeting up with new friends for dinner or drinks… When you’re new to town and never seem to know what the dress code will be, it’s nice to have a shoe that isn’t trying too hard but still looks more dressed up than a pair of flats. What’s your go-to summer shoe?
