It’s always exciting to see another friend take the plunge into entrepreneurship. Paul, one of Will’s best friends from high school, just launched a direct-to-consumer boot brand called Tecovas and Will and I have both been wearing our new boots nonstop! The boots are designed in Austin, Texas, handmade in Léon, Mexico, and sold exclusively online to avoid the mark-up associated with selling in stores. The concept is you can purchase a pair of boots worth more than $400 for about half the price. Pretty cool, right?
Since meeting Will and moving to Dallas, I’ve grown to love the look of boys in boots (definitely not something I saw much of growing up in Connecticut!) but I have to say the women’s booties are my favorite style. Each boot comes in three colors (I’m wearing the desert calf but I love Will’s bourbon calf color!) and I’ve been really impressed with the quality of the leather. They’re the perfect height for throwing on with jeans and I think they’ll be equally cute paired with dresses in the spring or fall. I really wish I’d had a pair of these for sporting events in college but it’s better late than never!

Definitely check out Tecovas if you’re looking for a new pair of men’s or women’s boots. Congrats, Paul!
