Can I take a moment to whine about the weather? We can’t seem to get more than a couple days of sunshine in a row in Connecticut right now and it’s seriously cramping my style (literally). And it seems like everyone I follow on Instagram and Snapchat is saying the same thing about where they live! Don’t be fooled by the light in these pictures — Grayson and I were just about to head out to take pictures when a sudden sun shower broke out. Pretty to look at but not so fun to stand in, hence the indoor photos #sigh. Crossing my fingers we all see a little sunshine this weekend.
On a happier note, let’s talk about jumpsuits. I honestly think I own as many jumpsuits and rompers as I do dresses. Is that crazy? I just love that they’re a little more sophisticated than my well-loved jeans but less predictable than a sundress. You’ve already seen me wear at least three or four pairs of Banana Republic shoes this year (these being my favorites), but when I saw this cropped navy jumpsuit in their new arrivals, I felt like it had my name written all over it. That little bow in the back?! Pockets?! It’s a done deal. If you love a jumpsuit moment as much as I do, check this one out and order down a size (I’m wearing the 0 but wish I’d gotten petite 0 just for length!). I dressed mine up with these fab gold sandals and a striped clutch, but I also threw it on the other day with Jack Rogers to run errands so it can really go either way.
