STATEMENT SHORTS FOR DAY AND NIGHT

I typically think of shorts as part of a casual daytime look but I fell in love with these striped satin shorts and knew they’d do double duty for slightly dressier looks as well. (The same fabric is also available on a strapless top or a midi skirt if those are more your style!) I love the classic blue and white stripes, the unexpectedly luxe fabric, and of course the cinched bow waist. The best part is they look just as cute with a plain white t-shirt as they do with a navy cashmere sweater. Here I wore them with a pretty embroidered top for dinner at one of our favorite spots on Nantucket, Ventuno.
