We had a great time in Savannah this past week celebrating Will’s and our moms’ upcoming birthdays. We got unlucky with the weather on both days but we did squeeze in a historical walking tour, a mini road trip to Beaufort, South Carolina, and a ton of great meals and shopping!
Before it started to downpour, I changed into this matching striped top and shorts from Southern Tide. They’re opening a store on Nantucket this summer and I can’t wait to check it out! I love that you can wear these together or pair the top with white jeans and the shorts with a navy t-shirt or solid button-down.
A few highlights from our time in Savannah if you’re interested: brunch at Collins Quarter (I had the avocado toast), lavender lattes and macarons from The Paris Market, delicious dinners at both Pacci and Olde Pink House, and the most insane biscuits from Back in the Day Bakery. We also popped into a ton of antiques shops and boutiques, my favorites being Emily McCarthy (I wanted EVERYTHING) and Number Four Eleven for all things monogrammed.
We were planning to go out on a sailboat on Sunday but it was way too cold to be out on the water so we drove up to Beaufort for a few hours instead! Brunch was fully booked at Anchorage 1770 so instead we had a yummy lunch at Lowcountry Produce and then walked around to take in the incredible architecture and soak up a little sun. What a charming little town! I was so glad we got to see it.
