Who else feels like 2018 flew by in the blink of an eye? This November marked nine years of Design Darling and I can’t tell you how grateful I am to each and every one of you reading here. It blows my mind that this little personal project I started my junior year of college is still bringing me so much joy and so many opportunities nearly a decade later and that wouldn’t be the case without all of you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
Just wanted to share a few of my favorite memories from the year as well as the most popular posts on Design Darling over the past twelve months. (Apologies in advance for photo overload!) It’s been an action-packed year with lots of travel, weddings, and getting settled with a new house and new friends in CT. I’m planning to take the next week off to relax and spend time with family but I’ll be back on Wednesday, January 2, ready to kick it into high gear for 2019! Happy happy holidays, everyone!

A few blog highlights… I launched a new blog design, published my Nantucket guide, redesigned my 101 in 1001 list, got to work with some of my favorite brands (like J.Crew, Ralph Lauren, and Vineyard Vines!) shared four room reveals in our new house, finally shared a program that’s near and dear to my heart, and started my Friday Q&A series which has quickly become one of the most popular features on the site and one of my favorites to write!
A few travel highlights… visiting the Berkshires for the first time, taking a polo lesson in Palm Beach, feeding the pigs in the Abacos, our stay at Playa Grande Beach Club in the Dominican Republic, taking Will to the French Open, having a group of friends out for the Fourth of July on Nantucket, stand up paddle boarding with my mom and sister, and an early fall road trip through Vermont! I’m so grateful for every opportunity to see a little bit more of the world and can’t wait to see what 2019 has in store!
If you’ve made it this far… I’d love to hear what you’d like to see in 2019! Always love hearing your suggestions for blog posts, new series, travel destinations, and more. Thank you again for making this little corner of the internet so special!
