I can’t tell you how happy I am that yesterday marked the first official day of spring! I’m also excited to share my first two outfits from our trip to Australia. After a long winter in Connecticut it was so nice to shop for warm weather pieces again. I wore this cropped khaki jumpsuit to Watsons Bay on our second day in Sydney and it’s officially one of the comfiest things in my closet. I love that it can be dressed up a bit for dinner like I did here with a striped sweater and wedge espadrilles or dressed down with flat sandals or sneakers. I’m wearing a petite 0 and the length is perfect on me at 5’1″.

Banana Republic has a ton of cute dresses and jumpsuits this season — in addition to the one I’m wearing here, I love this bright coral jumpsuit, this classic fit-and-flare, this color-blocked style, this pretty eyelet number, this poplin shirtdress, this striped t-shirt dress, and this twist-front shift. Any of them would be so cute with these wedge espadrilles which I think look much more expensive than they are!
I donned another Banana Republic outfit later on our trip for a bike ride from our hotel in Cabarita Beach to a nearby beach in Kingscliff. This crisp poplin top is a no-brainer for spring and summer and I love the fun pop of color in these red espadrilles (which would also be adorable with the jumpsuit above!). This striped sweater is going to be a well-loved wardrobe staple of mine — I love that the thicker knit doesn’t wrinkle easily and will be perfect for cool nights on Nantucket come summer.

A few more Banana Republic finds I’m loving at the moment: these block heel sandals, this canvas tote, these classic pumps in a rainbow of colors, these espadrille slides, this perfect spring trench, these sailor shorts, these side-stripe denim shorts, this striped sweater top, and this washable silk blouse!
