Last Friday afternoon Will and I took an hour to check out the Rowayton Farmer’s Market and I have a feeling this is going to become a weekly tradition for the rest of the season! It’s right on the water in Pinkney Park with tons of stalls and a food truck and the whole scene was so vibrant compared to the much smaller farmer’s market we have in Darien. We picked up hydrangeas, pizza dough with homemade pesto, hummus, berries, cherry tomatoes, and of course a couple apple cider doughnuts and walked down to a bench by the water to enjoy an impromptu picnic. Everyone throughout the farmer’s market was wearing masks and it was really an ideal outdoor activity for fall!
