I’m at the point in my pregnancy where nothing really fits and I’m more comfortable in pajamas than anything else. I’m desperate for it to warm up a bit so I can trade my winter coat for a few easy dresses — I think I felt cuter at the end of my pregnancy with Teddy when it was summer and I could throw on a flowy dress, slip into sandals, and call it a day (see: every outfit in this post). Between the two dresses in this post and the one I’m about to share here, I just need the weather to cooperate so I can power through these final six weeks in something besides these leggings (which are admittedly an everyday staple, pregnant or not).
I ordered this dress from Amazon on a whim and was surprised by how much I love it in person. I hate to spend a ton of money on clothing I’ll only wear during pregnancy, but this dress is not only crazy affordable but perfectly wearable pre- and post-pregnancy as well. It’s not a maternity style, but the swingy silhouette is easy to wear with a bump if you size up (I’m wearing the size S here). The fabric is also super soft for this price point so it really is comfortable either lounging around the house or out and about. I’m planning to wear it with a denim jacket or field jacket and sneakers for this transitional season, my go-to sandals or espadrilles this summer, and even with a Barbour jacket and booties come fall. I haven’t tried it yet, but this dress is a cute short-sleeved version that looks equally versatile, particularly if you live in a warmer climate!
