This is certainly not a Hill House nap dress dress I’ll be napping in 😉 but you all know by now how much I love the classic Ellie nap dress silhouette so I was excited to try the collector’s edition in powder blue tulle. I fell in love with the color as soon as it popped up in their new arrivals and the tulle is great quality in person and just the ultimate party fabric. It has the same elasticated smocking in the bodice as the classic Ellie nap dress with layers of plush tulle that make for a fuller skirt (aka perfect for hitting the dance floor!). I first wore it to my cousin’s wedding with a nude slip underneath, but the matching powder blue slip that I pre-ordered has since arrived which looks much better than the nude slip in my opinion! The powder blue tulle makes it a perfect outfit to wear as a wedding guest or for a baby or bridal shower. 

A note on Hill House nap dress sizing: I’m wearing my usual size XS in the dress and went with a size small in the matching slip as I found it rather short and fitted. If this is your first time ordering a Hill House nap dress, I recommend ordering your true size for your first order (and if you’re deciding between two sizes, I would go with your smaller size for the classic Ellie nap dress!). I do wish the dress were just lined so you didn’t have to purchase the slip separately, but the color and quality are so beautiful in person and it moves so beautifully that it more than makes up for the extra step!
