We made it to Nantucket! It’s been a little chaotic between a long travel day and the boys adjusting to sleeping in their new bunk room (!), but I know we’ll all settle into a new rhythm in the next week or so and I’m so excited for our first summer up here as a family of six! 

This time of year I always start to get questions about what to pack for Nantucket (and other destinations in New England) so I wanted to share some of the pieces in my Nantucket summer packing list. We tend to be pretty casual up here between beach days as a family (in which case there’s 99% chance I’m wearing my favorite beach pants) and dinners in town with friends we try to catch up with out here each year (at a handful of go-to restaurants where a cute dress like this or this is plenty dressed up!). I always bring a few pairs of white jeans (this year I ordered two of these), a few sweaters for cooler days and chilly nights (this one is a new favorite), and an assortment of straw and wicker bags. I always advise skipping heels on Nantucket since most of downtown has cobblestone streets and brick pathways, but I get a lot of wear out of these wedge espadrilles year after year.
