10 recent Amazon purchases

1. Striped waffle baby onesie.

I ordered this on a whim as an easy outfit for Rory and it’s absolutely adorable in person! It runs slightly large (Rory just turned 6 months and this is the size 3-6m) and for $14, you can’t beat it.

2. Coop side sleeper pillow.

I saw both Cam Wimberly and Liz Joy post about this pillow on Instagram and ordered it out of desperation because I’d been waking up with a sore neck and shoulders every morning at least since Rory was born six months ago. I was admittedly a little skeptical but I’ve been sleeping on it for a week and my neck pain is honestly gone?! I ordered the coordinating pillowcase but it hasn’t arrived yet so I’ve been using with a regular pillowcase and honestly I think I’ll just return their pillowcase when it gets here because this is working shockingly well!

3. LYANER CURVED HEM SHIRTDRESS.

I ordered this shirtdress in white expecting the fabric to be too sheer for everyday wear and probably better as a cover-up for the beach, but I was so pleasantly surprised in person! The curved hem really elevates the look and it looks much nicer than the $39 price point would suggest. Going to order in the light blue and navy as well!

4. MEDICUBE ZERO PORE PADS.

I kept seeing these facial toner pads all over my TikTok and decided it couldn’t hurt to see what all the hype was about. My skin texture and pore size looked immediately better and for $18 these will be a new staple in my skincare routine. I definitely want to try more products from this brand if anyone has any recs!

5. Noodle & Boo room spray.

If you have a child’s bedroom with a diaper pail, you understand the necessity of a pleasant room spray and let me tell you I was thrilled to discover my favorite baby shampoo brand is now making a room spray in a similar scent! This smell is so dreamy and nostalgic to me and I have a feeling I will be using it long after we’ve graduated from our diaper era. 10/10 recommend!

6. Flat hair clips.

Another TikTok-influenced purchase that did not let me down. I’ve been wearing one of these just about every morning since they arrived and love that I can nurse the baby, drive a car, etc. without a claw clip digging into the back of my head, plus I feel like I’m noticing less breakage by not using a hair elastic every day.

7. Harbor by the sea puzzle.

Call it middle age but I’ve discovered I love having a puzzle out on our dining table and I love it even more now that our five-year-old Teddy is interested in working on it with me! I find anything in the 300-500 piece range is a decent compromise for us to work on together  — it’s more interesting to me than a 50 piece puzzle designed for children but less overwhelming to him than some of the 1000 piece puzzles we have from this brand.

8. Green smoking slippers.

I find myself wearing this shoe silhouette more than any other in my closet and while I adore all the Stubbs & Wootton pairs I’ve collected over the years, I’m always on the lookout for more affordable pairs with a similar feel. This pair is very flattering on the foot and I love this particular shade of green as we head into fall — a definite win for $18!

9. EVEREDEN KIDS’ DETANGLER SPRAY.

Any product that makes it easier for us to get three kids out the door to school every morning is a godsend to me right now. Our oldest has extremely thick, straight hair that sticks up in every direction when he wakes up while our middle two have fine, wavy hair that’s prone to tangling and this detangler spray does the trick for all three of them, plus it smells great and keeps their hair in place all day without that slicked back gel look I prefer to avoid.

10. Beaded keychain kit.

Purchases like this often feel like a gift to my future self who’s stuck inside on a rainy day with three kids asking “but what can we dooo???” We recently made these cute beaded name keychains for Teddy, Peter, and Tucker’s backpacks and the bigger beads were great for all three of their ages (3, 4, and almost 6). This would also be a fun go-to birthday party gift for ages 4+!
