OUTFIT {STUART WEITZMAN OVER THE KNEE BOOTS}

If you follow me on Instagram, you already know that I just made my first shoe purchase for fall. (Sign up for Like To Know It to be able to shop my Instagrams!) I’ve been coveting these since this post (you know it’s a good investment when you still like them almost a year later…) and, though they’re a little outside my comfort zone, I knew they were a keeper the moment I pulled them out of the box. Now welcoming to my closet Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots!

Navy Over The Knee Boots

There’s no more sound investment for fall than an awesome pair of boots. My riding boots from last fall are still in good shape so I decided to splurge on these over-the-knee boots in navy blue suede! If you’re looking to add to your fall boot collection, there’s really no better place to look than Nordstrom. They carry everything from Frye to Steve Madden, Tory Burch to Vince Camuto. And you can’t go wrong with free shipping and returns!

Design Darling Over The Knee Boots

As you’ve probably noticed, I live in dark wash skinny jeans all year round so the navy suede boots were a leg-lengthening no-brainer. (If you rarely find yourself in navy blue, who are you? these also come in black!)

5050 Boots Nice Blue

They’re the perfect boot for fashion week because they make my legs look a little longer — without a high heel. The flat sole makes them super walkable without sacrificing style. Remind me why I didn’t buy these sooner?!

J.Crew Tipped Blazer

I styled the boots with a preppy blazer-and-oxford combo but a sweater like this one or this will be perfect with them once it really cools down in the city.
