Fun fact: I was named after a plaid. My mom was working with a lot of Mackenzie tartan at Ralph Lauren while pregnant with me and she and my dad fell in love with the name Mackenzie Elizabeth. She even tied a bit of Mackenzie tartan ribbon on my birth announcements (now you know why I always say design is in the details…). So it’s no surprise that I love a good plaid (whether it’s on a spool of ribbon or a cozy flannel shirt), which is exactly why this plaid vest has my heart…
