I’ve been noticing a new trend at several of my favorite retailers: white perforated leather bags, shorts, and even shorts. I had been coveting a pair of perforated leather ballet flats last spring that sold out before I could pull the trigger and I’ve been dreaming about them ever since (don’t you know the feeling?). Lo and behold the trend is everywhere this spring and I for one couldn’t be happier to hop on board. It feels very preppy-tennis-whites-meet-runway-show to me but I’ll let you be the judge:

bucket bag  //  ballet flats  //  flat clutch

espadrilles  //  crossbody bag  //  sneakers

tote bag  //  shorts  //  d’Orsay flats

I’m probably too pale to pull off the perforated leather shorts but I could totally get on board with a perforated leather clutch or even perforated leather espadrilles. How about you? Any other spring trends you’re looking forward to? (“Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking.” #namethatmovie)
