We had the best long weekend on Nantucket! It was the first of many trips to the island this summer and this time we went up with my parents and brother Camden to get a jump start on planning our September 2017 wedding. We met with potential reception venues, rehearsal dinner venues, florists, a tent company, and even a realtor to work on finding housing for all of our guests. There were definitely highs and lows as far as meeting with vendors went but all in all it was such a productive few days and a beautiful weekend in my favorite place on earth! Only 458 days until the big day…! 😉
{Starting the day in our backyard in Naushop with an iced coffee from Espresso To Go!}
{The Naushop Clubhouse all decked out for Memorial Day.}
{Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in ‘Sconset.}
{I might be biased but I think Nantucket has the most beautiful window boxes in the world!}
{I can comfortably wear these navy espadrilles from sun-up to sun-down — this exact pair is from last year but this pair is identical and under $100.}
{How pretty is this nautical weathervane?}
{This house on Baxter Road was in my family from the 1890s to the 1970s. My mom grew up spending summers here overlooking the Atlantic — not jealous at all. 😉 I was thinking of doing a Wedding Wednesday post about why Nantucket is so special to us — would any of you be interested?}
{My parents had their rehearsal dinner at The Chanticleer in ‘Sconset thirty years ago this September.}
{They’ve done such a beautiful job with the interior!}
{All I want in life: a Land Rover Defender and a home on Nantucket.} 🙂
