With less than two months to go until the big day, our guests are starting to ask about what to wear to each event during our wedding weekend. Nantucket in general is a pretty casual place and our reception venue (which I shared in this post!) is a quaint little restaurant overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, so I instantly ruled out black tie or formal attire. Instead I want our guests to be their most colorful, dance floor-ready selves, and the dress in today’s post would certainly fit the bill! The idea is to be comfortable and colorful without looking like you’ve actually just come from a day at the beach (think a step up from sundresses). For a summer wedding, I always love an embellished cocktail dress, a colorful maxi dress, or anything twirl-worthy.
