WEEKEND IN FLORIDA

Today I’m making my way back to Connecticut after spending the weekend at my Grandy’s house in Naples. I went down with my mom and overlapped on Sunday with my Uncle David and my cousin Chelsea so we had a fun family-filled weekend! We ran lots of errands (I hope you caught our motorized cart antics at Costco over on Instagram stories) and tackled a few projects around the house before sneaking off to the beach to dip our toes in the Gulf. It was a quick but productive trip and I’ll take any excuse to squeeze in some quality time with some of my favorite people.

I lived in this sweater basically all weekend, both with jeans and with these cute printed shorts that caught my eye. I usually wear mostly solid colors, stripes, and gingham but something about this print just spoke to me. To be honest the material on them is thinner than I was expecting but I love high-waisted shorts and I’m happy to have a printed pair in my closet.
