My love of a classic shirtdress is well-documented on Design Darling but I’m pretty sure this one takes the cake. Remember the white bow jumpsuit I wore in Palm Beach a couple months ago? It was made of stretch denim, which is genius because it’s a thicker fabric that’s not the least bit sheer and that’s less likely to wrinkle than just about every other dress or jumpsuit I own. So when I realized this pretty eyelet shirtdress was actually made of stretch denim, I knew I had to have it. I love the unexpected combo of such a utilitarian fabric in a super girly silhouette. And the stiffer fabric means the collar stays popped all day long — fellow prepsters rejoice!
A note on accessories… I am in love, love, love with this Pamela Munson grosgrain clutch. I have a slight problem when it comes to basket bags (seriously, they are taking over the top shelf of my closet) but I absolutely had to have this one. I got it in the pale pink but they’ve since introduced a navy colorway so you really can’t go wrong! And please say hello to my first pair of Stubbs & Wootton slippers. I’ve coveted a pair for years and was over the moon when they reached out and sent me this woven pair from their spring collection. They’re as classic as they come and couldn’t be more comfortable — don’t be surprised when I’m wearing them on repeat all spring and summer!

P.S. The dress runs true to size, but I did have to roll up the sleeves a little more than the model just because of where they hit my elbows.
