I asked what you guys are up to for the Fourth of July on Instagram yesterday and was excited to see how many of you are also making your way to Nantucket! I’m often asked what to pack for a trip to Nantucket and I always suggest packing warmer clothes than you think you’ll need because it cools down so much at night. Of course if you don’t it’s a built-in excuse to pick up a new Nantucket sweatshirt while you’re waiting in line for Juice Bar so it’s kind of a win-win. 😉
My Nantucket style staples include denim shorts, striped shirts, white jeans, and a few pairs of shoes that will have you covered everywhere from the beach to dinner reservations in town. I always pack a dress, romper, or skirt that I plan on wearing to dinners out but honestly I usually find myself reaching for a sweater, white jeans, and espadrilles to avoid being cold after the sun sets. And of course I’m bringing this American flag sweater that I’ve worn for the past several Fourth of July festivities. Here’s a representative Nantucket packing list for the Fourth of July!
one // two // three // four // five (worn here) // six // seven (worn here)
eight // nine (worn here) // ten (worn here) // eleven (worn here) // twelve
thirteen (worn here) // fourteen // fifteen (worn here) // sixteen (worn here)
