One of the items on my current 101 in 1001 list was to visit Nantucket for Christmas Stroll, which I hadn’t done in many years! I thought it would be a fun way to get us all in the Christmas spirit and was happy when my parents, both brothers, and one of their girlfriends decided to join us! A few people on Instagram asked for our thoughts on the festivities and while it is a heavy tourism weekend on the island with lots of cheesy Christmas costumes (if you don’t love Daffodil Festival or Figawi, this is definitely not the weekend for you!), it was so fun for our two-year-old Teddy to see Santa arrive by boat and drive up Main Street in a vintage fire truck and equally enjoyable for me to take in all the pretty Christmas decorations around town. Plus it’s a wonderful last hurrah for many of our favorite shops and restaurants on the island and thus a perfect excuse to do some additional small business shopping! Here are a few photos from the weekend.

P.S. It’s not too late to order a Nantucket Print Shop gift in time for Christmas! This, this, this, this, and this are our all-time best sellers.
