We tried on the boys’ Halloween costumes this past weekend and I can’t wait to share a photo with you guys because they are just precious! This will be our first time going trick-or-treating as a family since it’s the first year Teddy is old enough to understand the concept and be excited about it, so I wanted to share some of the many cute Halloween costumes for toddlers and babies I considered for anyone else who’s looking for fun children’s costume ideas! I tried to group them loosely by theme if you’re looking for sibling costume ideas — think farm animals, fruits and veggies, safari animals, etc. I do think it’s possible Teddy will make a last-minute pivot to wearing one of his superhero capes the day of, but I couldn’t resist a little matching concept for him and his brothers that I’ll share soon. 🙂
P.S. I think Pottery Barn Kids has one of the cutest assortments of Halloween costumes for kids and wanted to mention their sizing runs large — I’ve actually put Teddy in the size 12-24 month costumes the past two years and he just turned three! He is on the smaller side for his age but it’s still something to keep in mind to avoid having to exchange sizes if you order — for instance you could definitely order the 0-6 month size for the average 9-month-old and the 12-24 month size for a two-and-a-half-year-old.
