Our hall bathroom renovation wrapped up a year and a half ago and I’ve been meaning to tackle how to organize the linen closet in there just about every week since. My mom and I recently dedicated a few hours to taking absolutely everything out so we could take inventory of exactly what we needed to put back in like extra duvet covers and pillowcases for our bedroom, extra towels for guests, dog shampoo for Rory, and toilet paper. I’ve used these Container Store water hyacinth baskets throughout our home (you can see them in our nursery and our playroom!) and my mom had the idea to dress them up a bit with a little navy velvet ribbon attached with velcro dots. I love the way it turned out! Then we printed labels for everything which I really think is the key for keeping a space organized in the long run. These are always the kinds of projects I put off forever and am so happy once they’re finally finished!
P.S. If you like organizing content, check out how we organized our kitchen cabinets and drawers and how we organized our pantry!
The linen closet before… can you tell I’d just been throwing things in and closing the door?
The organized linen closet after! A place for everything and everything in its place 🙂
