My Fairfield County guide is finally live! I’ve wrestled with this guide feeling somehow incomplete, knowing that I don’t stray from my tried-and-true favorites as much as I feel like I “should” because every date night and family meal out requires real forethought in this season of life. So while this guide is perhaps lacking in some of the newest or most trendy spots, I hope it’s a helpful starting point for anyone who’s new to the area and looking for kid-friendly restaurants or a new pediatrician or a trustworthy general contractor. As with my Nantucket guide, I plan to add to my Fairfield County guide over time as we try new places and new ones open up (especially with all the construction happening in Darien right now!). I know this area isn’t a tourist destination by any stretch, but if you find it helpful or have a friend who might, I’d love for you to share!
