TODDLER BIRTHDAY PARTY FAVORS

We’re hosting for a small backyard birthday party for Peter’s second birthday in a couple weeks and I wanted to share some of the toddler birthday party favors I’ve ordered, most of which are admittedly repeat purchases of what I ordered Teddy’s third birthday this past fall. Teddy’s birthday party had a few nods to his love of superheroes and Peter’s birthday party will involve a little Easter egg hunt, but in general I’m not a huge theme person and think a few balloons + a bouncy house is a simple recipe for a fun party at this age!

Basically my approach to toddler birthday party favors is nothing exorbitant but also not a bunch of random keychains that wind up straight in the trash. Some ideas if you’re of a similar mindset: bubbles, crayons, crazy straws, mini play-doh containers, and/or a little bag of low-sugar candy in a cute paper bag with matching tissue paper. For Teddy’s third birthday, we added these colorful superhero masks and capes. For Peter’s second birthday, I bought a bunch of these pastel Easter eggs to sprinkle throughout the yard and we’ll add these bunny ears to the party favor bags. I’m nowhere near a party planning expert (and I’m sure you’ve all seen some practically wedding-worthy toddler birthday parties on Instagram and Pinterest!) but just wanted to share since this was one of those random things I found myself googling a few months back. 🙂
