I loved the look of this J.Crew ruffle hem shirtdress on their website and I have to tell you it’s twice as good in person — the fabric is reasonably opaque (I’d still wear with nude underwear, but no slip required) and it has beautiful covered buttons that make it look like more of an investment piece than it is! It reminds me a little of this Mille Victoria dress (see all currently available prints here) that I wear all the time. I hope they introduce this one in more colors in coming seasons!
