You all know how I feel about my Hill House Ellie nap dress so I was really excited when they asked if I would share a couple of their new products for summer. It’s easy to get in the habit of sticking with styles that I know work for me (especially after having a baby, when fewer things seem to “work” than usual) so it was fun to branch out a little and try two different styles for the first time!
First I chose the Caroline nap dress, which was one of their original styles that they recently released in white eyelet with a removable slip underneath. It’s cute enough to throw on with a belt and espadrilles as an easy outfit to wear out but also more than comfortable enough to wear all day at home. I love the ruffled hem and elasticated sleeves and while this is my first Caroline dress, I have a feeling it won’t be my last! I’m wearing the size XS (my regular size for Hill House nap dresses) and it just makes me feel pretty and feminine — it would be stunning as a getting ready outfit for a bride or in maternity or newborn photos for a new mom!

My second pick from their new styles for summer was the Artemis dress in their blue hydrangea print and I have to say the cut of this dress was such a pleasant surprise — sometimes shift dresses can fit like a shapeless sack and this one has a more structured silhouette and comes in a textured cotton canvas that has a lovely weight and really holds its shape. It also comes in a sleeveless shift but I love this long sleeve tunic style and would definitely order a second when they introduce different colors and/or new prints. The clasp at the top of the keyhole neckline makes it possible to wear it open or closed. I can’t wait to wear it out to dinner on Nantucket in a few short weeks!
