I came downstairs after putting on this dress and our oldest Teddy exclaimed, “Green! That’s your second favorite color!” I had told him my favorite colors were blue, green, and pink in that order and yet he sees me in blue and/or white probably 95% of the time, so I suppose it was noteworthy in his book. 🙂 I am generally much more picky about precise shades of green (whereas I love nearly every shade of blue!) but this striped shirtdress was love at first sight!

I will say the fit is very oversized and I wish it came in regular sizing (XS, S, M, and so forth vs. grouped sizes like XS/S and M/L) because looking at these pictures, I think I ought to have it hemmed a couple inches. Nonetheless I love the slightly exaggerated sleeve and the billowy skirt, especially with a belt like this one (which I love because you can cinch it anywhere as it doesn’t have set notches). The dress does come in navy and white as well — would recommend sizing down (or ordering the petite version) if you’re interested!
