Happy Friday and happy August! Will, the boys, and I got back to Connecticut late last night after six weeks on Nantucket and the transition home is always bittersweet. We are so lucky to be able to work from out there with our kids in tow but I am also craving a return to routine. I can’t wait to sleep in my own bed and reunite with our beloved nanny but I also get sad knowing some of my very favorite weeks of the year are behind us. I don’t get the Sunday scaries much anymore, but I definitely have the summer scaries if that’s a thing? But we’re going to make the most of this month at home with lots of pool time and catching up with friends we haven’t seen in a couple months! I do still have some more Nantucket photos to share here and on Instagram next week so mentally I’ll be back there while physically I’m unpacking and tackling 800 loads of laundry. 🙂 I hope you all have a wonderful weekend + a great month ahead!
