If you’re still deciding what to wear on Christmas Day, I have an excellent contender to suggest! I ordered this long blackwatch dress as part of an Instagram partnership with Maxwell & Geraldine and instantly knew I’d found my outfit for our Christmas festivities at home. In fact it will probably see me from opening presents first thing in the morning straight through to family dinner that evening!
The Lucy long blackwatch dress is made of a brushed cotton that’s as soft as a pair of flannel pajamas, but the velvet trim on the sleeves and hem make it much more elevated. I love the longer puff sleeves and comfortable smocked bodice, plus the length is perfect for running around and/or sitting on the floor with our three little ones. I’m wearing a size XS and find it’s true to size if you’re interested in trying yourself!
