This was the first year any of our kids showed much interest in picking out or decorating the Christmas tree and I was glad Julia snapped a few photos to commemorate the occasion! Decorating the tree with my parents and siblings is such a touchstone childhood memory for me and I feel like this was a little sneak peek of all the holiday joy that awaits us as the boys get older. I ordered these adorable little Petite Plume pajama sets (and the matching baby romper for Tucker!) in an emerald green ticking stripe and it instantly got me in the holiday spirit to see them in their matching holiday pajamas, picking out their names on needlepoint Christmas ornaments!
Decorating our Christmas tree
This Tuckernuck blackwatch Selena blouse was a Black Friday purchase that I’ve worn on several occasions this holiday season, including to one of the kids’ preschool holiday concerts last week. I love the puff sleeves and covered buttons and will definitely keep an eye out for this silhouette in other colors/patterns for other seasons! I’m wearing my usual size XS and it’s a roomy fit so you may want to size down if you decide to order.
Needlepoint Christmas ornaments
I’ve been so focused on finishing the boys’ needlepoint Christmas stockings that our collection of needlepoint Christmas ornaments is largely unchanged from last year, but I plan to continue to add to this collection over time! It looks like the Etsy shop I ordered the boys’ Christmas ornaments from is no longer active, but a few similar canvases I love here, here, and here! These lightweight tinsel balls from Target are my favorite to fill in the rest of the tree.
