One of the tasks I forgot to include on our 2024 home project list is to order a new doormat for our front porch. Our current one is unraveling and just in bad shape and it’s literally the first thing people see when they come to the front door, so a new doormat will be a quick upgrade I can cross off the list sooner rather than later.

I did a ton of searching for stylish door mats and I will say there are not a ton of classic, traditional styles out there — there are a lot of attractive indoor/outdoor rugs that you can use just inside your front door, but I wanted something durable enough to sit outside our front door year-round that’s still in keeping with the overall look and feel of the rest of our home decor.
