Happy Friday, friends! This weekend always feels like the unofficial start to summer and I cannot wait! We are headed to Fire Island tomorrow to hang with my brother’s fiancée’s family for the day, then back to Connecticut for a little beach playdate on Sunday, and then we have our local Memorial Day parade on Monday.

I will definitely be wearing this striped matching set at some point — I ordered it with low expectations but it’s actually great in person, definitely not the finest quality material but adorable for chasing kids around and it will dry quickly as a cover-up for the beach or pool. Also wanted to mention the chippendale planters we have on our front porch are two for $40 right now — also not fancy but we’ve had them for 4+ years and they’re good as new (plus they do well with a quick pressure wash when we clean the porch!).
