I’ve been on a search for mom-friendly swimsuits this summer and this off-the-shoulder smocked one-piece has become an instant favorite. I don’t know if it’s a function of how much my body has changed after three pregnancies or just the trending swim styles at the moment, but I’ve found it increasingly difficult to find a swimsuit that offers medium to full coverage that still feels youthful and fun. Anyone else?! I just want a swimsuit I can comfortably chase my kids in, that actually stands up to swimming in the ocean, but that doesn’t feel like I’m trying to dress like I’m 100 years old either.

It’s definitely a splurge but I fell in love with the smocked fabric, and the off-the-shoulder silhouette makes it feel special and fun while still providing solid coverage in the front and back. In terms of sizing help, I would order the smaller of your two sizes — I went with the small and wish I’d gotten the XS.
