EARLY FALL FINDS

Rounding up some pretty finds that have caught my eye as we head into fall. The barn jacket silhouette is majorly on-trend this year which is interesting as I consider it a solid pick for a classic wardrobe staple. I actually think that’s how I’d sum up my general approach to trends — I’m happy when something I love happens to be “in” because it means there will be lots of good options to choose from, but I don’t turn my closet inside out from season to season based on what’s taking over stores. In any event there are lots of great barn/chore/field jacket styles to choose from right now — I like this cropped J.Crew style (also in a pretty dusty blue) and have seen rave reviews about this affordable Old Navy style too (also love this quilted style that’s new on their site).

I’m this close to taking the plunge on this timeless navy blazer — I love the double-breasted silhouette worn open or closed and the gold buttons would pair perfectly with these supremely comfortable gold flats I recently added to my closet. I’ve shared my favorite white jeans by Pistola a dozen times and I’ve recently tried a pair of their cropped jeans and olive green pants for fall — the fit of both is fantastic and I’d highly recommend checking out their brand if you’re searching for new denim this season.

Last but not least, I’ll be carrying my tried-and-true bamboo handle bag all fall and winter (I’ve had it for probably ten years now and still adore it!) but I also love the look of this well-priced leather tote if you’re looking for something to transport your laptop. And how good is this crossbody bag with the horsebit detail? So good with any of the below!
