Hi, friends. We are en route to Boston today to celebrate the life of my mom’s sister who passed away earlier this week. I am heartbroken for my cousins and really hoping this year turns around for them as they have been managing so, so much of late. Thankfully my cousin and her husband who were staying with us were able to return to their apartment in L.A. and get their kids back in school this week, but things have definitely been heavy in our family these past several weeks and I’m hoping there is a light at the end of the tunnel coming soon. Big hugs to anyone who is struggling right now for one reason or another — you are not alone and I’m hoping things ease up soon for you too.
One bright light is that I’m nearing the home stretch in this pregnancy and daydreaming about what it will be like to have our fourth little guy finally here. I have lots of little house and nesting projects I’d like to tackle before he arrives, which always help give me a sense of accomplishment when so much else feels outside of my control. Wishing you all a calm, cozy, peaceful weekend — thank you always for checking in. xx
