SPRING CLOTHES FOR TODDLER BOYS

This time last year Rory was a teeny tiny newborn, and this year I’m shopping for spring with 1-, 3-, 4-, and 6-year-old boys! I tend to reorder the same tried-and-true spring clothes for toddler boys each year — quilted jackets and pullovers for unpredictable spring weather, polo shirts that launder well after the playground but still look nice enough for dinners out, and the waterproof loafers they wear nearly every day from April through October.

If you’re shopping for spring clothes for toddler boys, these are the wardrobe staples I come back to each season: super soft striped polos, easy quarter-zips, chinos in neutrals and pastels, and comfortable shoes that can handle real life. I don’t love graphic tees, dino prints, or anything overly fussy — just simple, classic pieces that mix and match all spring long (and hopefully make it into our hand-me-down pile at the end of the season).
