I’m never ready to say goodbye to summer. I actually love all the fresh start, back-to-school energy that fall brings, but my dread of winter always keeps me clinging to warm sunny days for as long as possible. The sweaters in today’s round-up act as transitional pieces between summer and fall — cotton cardigans and crewnecks that are cute now with gauzy beach pants or white denim shorts and will work equally well with jeans and boots in a month or two.

I just received this Goop cardigan and the cut is to die for — the puff sleeve is super flattering and I’ll be wearing it with white jeans into the foreseeable future. Consider it my first baby step toward September…!
