Art is the thing that makes a house feel personal and complete. It brings in color, feeling, and personality in a way furniture alone can’t quite! But art is also one of the hardest things to shop for, especially if you’re trying to strike a balance between “something special” and “not a small fortune.”
Etsy has long been one of my favorite places to find art prints and original artwork from truly talented small businesses, from coastal watercolors and charming landscapes to vintage-inspired intaglios and everything in between.
I’ve found so much of the art hanging in our home from Etsy over the years, including the prints my brother Camden and I sell in our own Etsy shop, Nantucket Print Shop. I love that every purchase supports an indepedent painter or photographer, which also means you won’t see your same art hanging in every home on your TikTok feed.
