It’s about that time of year! Every spring I start getting emails from readers asking for my Nantucket recommendations on where to stay, where to eat, and what to do on the island, a place that’s been near and dear to my mom’s side of the family since the late 1880s (full story coming soon!).
I’ll be living there for most of the summer this year to finish planning our wedding and I know many of you are planning weekend trips or weeklong stays this year! I haven’t spent the full summer there since my cousins and I worked on the island as teenagers so I’m extra excited to prolong my stay and play hostess to visiting family and friends. In the mean time, here are a ton of posts from summers past featuring many of my family’s favorite spots!
My Nantucket travel guide — how to get there, where to stay, what to do, where to eat, best beaches, favorite shops
A few of my favorite places on Nantucket — the bluff walk, where to see the best sunset, and the best ice cream
A great spot for photos in ‘Sconset
Memorial Day Weekend on Nantucket
Chartering a sailboat on Nantucket
My favorite lighthouse on Nantucket — where we took our engagement pictures!
Ending with a pretty picture I’d totally forgotten about of my Grandy’s Nantucket lightship basket!
If you have any questions about Nantucket, I’m happy to answer them in the comments or via email. And if you are headed to the island this summer, safe travels and have a wonderful time! I might be a little biased but I think it’s the best place on earth. 🙂
