OUR NEW CHRISTMAS CARD ALBUM

One of the goals on my 101 in 1001 list was to create a Christmas card album as a way to store our family’s Christmas photo cards from past years in one place. I have not done an amazing job of creating new photo albums since we’ve had children but it’s important to me that they have these favorite memories to look back on so I’m making it a priority! We keep our friends’ and family members’ holiday cards on display in a little tray on our kitchen counter for the duration of each holiday season, but I’ve held on to a copy of each of our own photo cards from over the years hoping to find a way to memorialize them and I love this album I found on Etsy!

I considered a few different options like this Mark & Graham leather album and this Sugar Paper holiday card book but ultimately wound up ordering our Christmas card album from an Etsy shop called Rag & Bone Bindery. I love the natural linen cover and the option to personalize with your family name on the front cover. The inside contains clear sleeves that fit two 5”x7” flat cards on each sheet and the album fits up to 50 cards so we’ll never run out of room!

I haven’t decided if I will keep our new Christmas card album in a stack with other photo albums from our wedding and honeymoon or if I will store it with our holiday decorations and bring it out each holiday season, but either way it’s a great way to document and look back on these special memories of our family at the same time every year! It’s amazing how much more grown up each of our boys already looks compared to this time last year when Tucker was a brand new baby. I’m happy to have this little project crossed off my list but I also think a Christmas card album would make a great gift for a newly married couple or friends with a new little one!
